Work Diary- Image within an image

During todays lesson I had to do a location shoot for the technique image within an image. To do this I had to take two pictures and overlay them on top of one another and then inside the frame I would rub out the top layer in order to see the image behind. I then used the same image within an image technique and made a video. If I was to do this lesson again I would experiment with the different photos I could take as my images were very simple.

In this image I took two separate photographs and put them over the top of each other. I had the model hold a frame to create the technique 'image within an image', to do this I rubbed out the top layer inside the frame to allow the bottom layer to be seen. The first picture I took was of the model holding the frame and then I took a second picture of the flowers behind the model so it looks like you can see through her. When editing this photo I changed the levels and curves to make the flowers more vibrant and due to it being a very sunny day the picture looks very summary and bright. If I was to take this image again I would experiment with the different angles I could get the model to hold the frame.
