Work Diary- Minimum Depth of Field

During this lesson we had to go out on a location shoot and photograph Minimum depth of Field.

In this image I have used a man-made background which is not in focus, however the main subject (beth) at the front of the image is in focus, which is minimum depth of field. If I was to take this photograph again I would improve the composition of the photo as I haven't included the top of the models head but I have included her shoulders.

For this photograph I have used a natural background of a plant. The background is not in focus but the  model at the front of the image is in focus, this creates minimum depth of field. If I was to take this photograph again I would experiment with the different angles to see which I like best.
