http://www.photoventure.com/2013/05/17/20-amazing-macro-photographers-on-500px/
This photographer uses minimalism, bold colours and careful composition to set his portfolio apart from other macro photography. In this image the main focus of the image is the single water drop. The flower petals closest to the camera are in focus and then as they get further away they are out of focus. The background is slightly blurred. There is a contrast between the variety of different colours. The composition only includes a section of the flower because the photographer doesn't want the flower to take away the focus from the water drop.

This photographer is a macro photographer and focusses on patterns reflected in water droplets. This allows the photographer to add humour and personality to his work.
In this image you can see a hook has been used to hod the water droplets & reflected in the is pictures of the shark from the film "Shark tale". By having these images in the reflection it makes his work more interesting and fun to look at. The background of this image is completely blurred out so that the main focus of the image is the hook holding the water droplets.
