Mid-Project Evaluation

This project so far has been very enjoyable and interesting. I have really liked doing my own personal project as I was allowed to decide to do what ever I liked. I feel that I have a number of ideas and haven't struggled to think of ideas for shoots like i have in previous projects. I have also liked doing all the techniques within the project as it has allowed me to look at different ways of taking photographs and made me recognise the possible techniques I could use in my personal project. For example, I feel that the technique multiple imagery would be really well incorporated within my project, therefore in my first shoot I made multiple imagery pieces.

During this project I have been doing all the  written work as I go along, meaning when I did the technique animation I would then do the image bank, technique page and work diary so that when it comes to having to complete all of the written work I have already done majority of it rather than leaving it to last minute and not having enough time to complete it all. Within this project the only thing I have found hard is being able to do a location shoot due to it now be winter it is hard to do a location shoot because the weather is so unreliable and it is almost raining every time its personal shoot day. However I am very happy with all of my studio shoots so far as I prefer the lighting in the studio anyway and feel that the photographs look more professional in the studio.

From looking at my previous work and then comparing it to my work so far in this project I feel that I have made a lot of progress as my understanding of photoshop has developed and my general idea of what photos will look good and what will not is a lot better. I am also a lot more comfortable and confident with experimenting with different ideas for shoots whereas in previous projects I played it safe with my ideas. I feel that within this project my progress will keep improving as we have done a variety of different and interesting techniques now and my photography skills are getting better as I go along.
