During todays lesson we had to make a video. The video didn't have to have any planning behind it and didn't have to mean anything, I could literally film anything without it having to have a meaning. Once I had taken a few videos I then had to edit them on premier pro. I used a number of different editing effects, I made one video black and white and overlaid the video, I also made one section of a video in colour and other parts in black and white. If I was to do this lesson again I would take more videos as I when it got to the editing process some of them didn't look as good as I thought they would, for example I took a hand held video of my journey in to college but when editing the video it was so jumpy and wobbly it was too unclear to see.
In this video I filmed the tap dripping and then getting faster and faster. The composition of the video only includes the bottom part of the tap rather than the whole of it as I wanted it to look as if the tap was turing on itself and if the whole tap was included you could see the person turing the tap. During the editing process I made the video black and white as it made it look more ghostly. After this I then overlaid the video two times on top of each other but each time changing the scale of the video so the taps got smaller as they went along. If I was to take this video again I would experiment with the different angles I would take the video from, for example: high or low angle.
