Technique Page- Slow Sync

Slow Sync:
Is a way of capturing movement in a photo.

Step by step guide:

  • Firstly the camera has to be set up correctly. In order to do this you must have a long shutter speed and the camera has to be set to the "White Balance" option.
  • You will have to use the 'Redhead' light.
  • You will need a black background for this technique & the background will have to be protected from the light.
  • Add a flash
  • Make sure the cameras set on "rare curtain sync".
  • Add the flash at same aperture.
