Why Chosen: I have chosen this photographer because I really liked his work as it allows you to see both human eyes and animal eyes in a way in which you wouldn't see in real life. Suren Manvelyan was Born in 1976, Suren started to photograph when he was sixteen and became a professional photographer in 2006. His photographic interests span from Macro to Portraits, Creative photo projects, Landscape, and much more. Suren’s photos have been published in numerous magazines and newspapers in Armenia and worldwide.

In this image you can see the patterns within the human eye that you wouldn't normally se, this is due to the photo being an extreme close up. The eye appears to be a lot bigger than it would be in reality and the audience have no idea how big the eye actually is. You can see the contrast between the blue and white and the different shades of blues within the eye mixing together.
This image shows an animal eye at a extreme close up range. During the editing process the editing technique 'selective colour' has been used by making the background black and white and the eye itself orange, this makes the eye the focus of the image. The photo has been taken from a side angle to create the effect that the eye is pocking out and makes it look 3D.
In this image of a human eye you can see more detailed patterns within the eye as its closer than the other human eye image. Due to the fact that the image is so close it almost looks fake as you wouldn't imagine a human eye to look like that when just looking at it at a normal prospective.
This image is of a crocodiles eye. You can see that the pupil is very different compared to the human pupil in the previous image. The image is an extreme close up and allows you to see the patterns within the eye, you can almost imagine the texture of the eye. You can see that the outer area of the eye is a lighter green & the closer to the centre the darker green it gets.
Influence: This photographers work has influenced me to take more photographs of the human body as its very fascinating and you can photograph it in different ways to how it is seen in everyday life.
Summary: Overall this photographer has influenced my work due to the fact that I have taken my own close up images of human eyes and am looking into taking more pictures of the human body. I am still very interested in this photographers work as I like the detail that you can see within the different eyes that you wouldn't see in reality as you cannot get close enough.
My Own Work:

This image is my own photograph that I took as I was inspired by Suren's work due to the fact that I liked the detail that the close up image shows of the eyes and wanted to show this in my own work. Both my work and Suren's work link as my image is a close up image and all Suren's work is close up.
