Work Diary- 8th Shoot

During this lesson I did a location shoot of fireworks at a fireworks display.  For this shoot I had to do a lot of editing to make the images look as professional as I could & not all of the images I took worked as well as I would have hoped.  However I did get some really nice colourful images. If I was to do this shoot again I would just take loads of images and then I would have had more choice.

With the images from this shoot I made an animation. I did this on photoshop by overlaying a number of images and then making one layer visible at a time. This makes it seem as if the still pictures are moving. I decided to make an animation with the images of fireworks as I think it actually looks like the fireworks are going off and because of the vibrant colours it very exciting to look at. If I was to make this animation again I would experiment with making some layers black and white and the others in colour so its like a burst of colour in the animation.

My inspiration behind this shoot came from previous shoots that I have done of vibrant colours and thought that this would be a different way to show the use of vibrant colours.

As a result of this shoot again I have found that the use of bright colours makes my images more interesting to look at and the next shoot I am going to do is a studio shoots as i prefer the studio but I want to do a shoot where I can include an animation as Its a good way to show more images and catch the eye of the viewers.
