In this picture I took of the models eye I have used selective colour & made the picture black and white but left the eye itself brown to make the detail and patterns within the eye stand out and draw the eye of the viewers. If I was to take this image again I would improve the composition of the photo.
For this image I made a multiple imagery price of the same image but edited in different colours. Again I used the selective colour method of editing by having the background black and white and the actual eye in colour. If I was to make this multiple imagery peice again I would make the colours of the eye less vibrant as I don't feel it looks as realistic as it could, some of the images look too over edited.
My inspiration behind this shoot came from the photographer Suren Manvelyan as he focussed on photographer both human and animal eyes. I liked the detail that the close up images show as it allowed the viewer to see patterns within the eye that you wouldn't normally see.
As a result of this shoot I am going to continue with the use of bright colours within future shoots. I will also continue to incorporate multiple imagery pieces within my work as its a way to show more variety of my work but within one image and I feel its more interesting to look at. For my next shoot as it is nearly fireworks night I am going to do a location shoot of a fireworks display as it shows the use of bright colours.
